Hello everyone

Hello everyone.

I'm Simon Bailey and I'm going to be your teacher for the 6-week presessional course at UAL. I'm really looking forward to working with you all over the next few weeks and getting to know you.

There is a lot to do in a short space of time and it's going to be hard work, but I really hope that it will be an interesting, fun and rewarding time for everyone. Let's all be open and supportive with each other and make sure that everyone enjoys a successful six weeks, leading into your chosen university courses. I hope that everyone will also make new friends and have nice memories.

I will do what I can to help you, and please feel free to approach me if you have any questions, or if there is anything that you would like me to cover in class. Time is short but I will do my best to help.

In the meantime, I hope you will all use this blog to stay in touch with each other. It is a useful space to post ideas such as interesting things you find in London, places or events that you have visited, and of course, anything that you find that might be useful to other students on the course.

It can be a useful space because you can communicate with each other when you are not physically in the same space, and you can communicate with all your other class members at the same time. It also provides a permanent record of your communication, which live conversation doesn't. I'm new to blogging to be honest, and I suspect that many of you are much more experienced than me, so if you have any ideas about how we can make this blog better, then I'd love to hear them.

So, that's all for now. I'm going to meet you all tomorrow, so I look forward to seeing you then!
